The Mac Tool’s UK Recruitment Manager, Paul Clegg, completed the National Three Peaks Challenge last month to raise funds for the charity BEN.
The demanding challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. The efforts saw Clegg and team raise £1,500 for the UK’s dedicated charity for the automotive industry.
Clegg said: “Mac Tools franchise owners are trusted distributors to the automotive repair shops and car dealers. We wanted to give something back to the community and did that via BEN.
“BEN provides care, support and advice to those in the automotive industries who need help in times of hardship or distress. This service costs BEN £11 million each year, so every bit of support helps.”
Mac Tools is part of Stanley Black & Decker, a global company that owns the Stanley Black & Decker, Facom, Britool Expert and DeWalt brands. Its product range consists of over 8,000 professional tools including screwdrivers, ratchets, wrenches, and assorted air tools, as well as its own toolboxes.
