As a boost to its brand recognition within the automotive industry, Mac Tools has recently confirmed two motorsport sponsorship deals.
The deals, one with Dynojet Racing Team in its contention for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship and the other with MSS Colchester Kawasaki in the British Superbike Championship, will see Mac Tools supply tools and toolboxes to the pit garages. In return the brand’s logo will be displayed on the teams’ car and bike bodywork, as well as their livery and leathers.
This is the third year that Mac Tools has supported MSS Colchester Kawasski. The deal highlights its continued commitment to British motorsport and provides the British Superbike team with top-of-the-range tools from both the Mac Tools and Facorn brands for its mechanics and engineers for the 2012 championship season.
Nick Morgan, team principal at MSS Colchester Kawasski, said: “We are extremely delighted to welcome Mac Tools and Facom back into the fold for a third successive season. The tools are the highest quality and have proven themselves time and again. Having top-notch tools available is crucial, especially at the race track. With Mac Tools and Facom products in the garage, our riders can roll down the pit lane with compete confidence.”
Paul Clegg, Franchise Recruitment Manager at Mac Tools, added: “Our brands are now becoming synonymous with motorsport achievement and our sponsorship deals give our franchise owners another strong link with their customers. Our franchise owners are trusted distributors of our 8,000 strong product range and with the sponsorship deals also come a great new range of branded toolboxes.”
