'There has been incredible interest from people looking for a van-based opportunity,' says Director Brett Marchant. 'Because the business doesn't require premises, it's really hitting a note with potential investors. In addition, franchisees have the option of launching the business as a hands-on or fully managed operation.'

Of particular interest to investors is the centralised marketing department that provides franchisees with 250 pre-qualified appointments during the first year as part of the franchise package. Brett says this is 'unrivalled in the industry' and 'the most efficient way of securing customers.' This service has been proven over five years of trading and is also being offered to other franchisors.

In 2005 the Directors of Manhattan Blinds, Mike and Sally Turness, partnered with Popping Tins Directors Brett Marchant and Alan Deakin to expand the business via franchising. These four people have tremendous expertise in the establishment of a franchise and in the sale and installation of blinds. Together they are aiming to establish a national network of franchisees becoming the brand leader in the blind installation industry.

'We're searching for self-motivated, hard working and personable people interested in building a highly profitable management business,' reveals Brett. 'The system is tried and tested and the market is huge.'
