Domestic cleaning company MOLLY MAID proved a hit with visitors at the National Franchise Exhibition, which took place on 1 and 2 October 2010. The company, which has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, was accompanied at the Exhibition by the British Franchise Association’s (bfa) Franchisee of the Year Award Winner 2009, MOLLY MAID franchise owner, Sandra Redmond.

MOLLY MAID showcased the opportunities and advantages of running a domestic cleaning business to all visitors. MOLLY MAID helped visitors to make the most of the show by providing insightful question and answer sessions as well as competitions.

Redmond was on hand for the question and answer sessions, offering expert advice and allowing potential franchise owners the opportunity to ask how she achieved her success and the coveted title of the bfa’s Franchisee of the Year. In addition, Pam Bader OBE, CEO of MOLLY MAID, was also there to explain the training and support provided and how MOLLY MAID gives their franchise owners full ownership of their business.

Staff on the MOLLY MAID stand provided useful information to read at leisure, packed with top tips and all the information needed to set up a franchise.

Bader OBE said: “We were delighted to return to the show after a few years away, bigger and better than before. There are over 70 MOLLY MAID franchises across the UK with a combined turnover of £13 million, but room for plenty more. As evident with Sandra’s success, as part of the MOLLY MAID network our franchise owners are our strategic partners who we, as franchisor, coach and support to help them build successful businesses. We had some great feedback from visitors who were impressed with what we had to offer.”
