High street fitness operator Movers & Shapers is seeking to continue its UK expansion via franchising. The company has seven stores, its most recent being its first concession operation which opened at a Bupa Wellness Centre in Solihull in November last year. Individuals are now being sought to open more boutique-style stores providing a combination of fast-track resistance training and convenient cardiovascular exercise to assist in weight loss, toning and fitness.

"We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people who have a strong interest in health and wellness but not necessarily a fitness qualification," said Managing Director Ben Margolis. "Our franchise, with a typical footprint of under 1,000 square feet, offers a simple and well supported opportunity to start a profitable business at the quality end of the growing health and wellness market with more focus on delivering great customer service and less worry about managing large teams and maintaining costly facilities."

In addition to opening franchises in new locations, Movers & Shapers is offering conversion franchises to existing, well-located training studios. Ben continued: "Unlike so many other operators, we do not ask for any dramatic lifestyle changes from our clients. We motivate them through a personalised approach and the provision of a quality supervised workout experience."
