As part of its global expansion plans MyDestinationInfo has sold four franchises covering Madrid, Miami, Florence and the Whitsunday Islands.
The new franchise owners are Daniel Twiselton, who has taken on the Madrid franchise and who also owns the current franchise for Barcelona; Tatiana and Dmitry Guydouk, who own the Miami franchise; Stuart and Deborah Goldsmith, who own the Florence franchise; and Tammy Smith has bought the franchise for Whitsunday Islands. All four franchises are expected to be available to the public before summer 2011.
MyDestinationInfo co-founder Neil Waller said: “2010 was a fantastic year for MyDestinationInfo, growing from 31 to 85 franchises and from 350,000 monthly site visitors in January to 750,000 in December. 2011 is set to be a very exciting year and we’re delighted to kick it off with the addition of these local resident experts to the MyDestinationInfo team.”
MyDestinationInfo is a UK-based online network of travel guides. Its franchise owners build their guide by sharing their unique insiders knowledge of their destination.
