Online travel guide franchise MyDestinationInfo has appointed Duncan Barraclough as Head of E-Commerce. Barraclough will be responsible for driving transactional revenue for the network, which currently includes over 90 individual destination websites across the world.

His role is to oversee the development and execution of an e-commerce strategy to increase revenue earned directly from the MyDestinationInfo site. Initial plans include a new booking engine and an increased focus on affiliate and partnership programmes.

Based at the MyDestinationInfo’s London office, Barraclough previously worked in consultancy roles at SimonSeeks.com and Travelsupermarket.com, where he was Head of Commerical.
