Nosh, a new convenience food franchise that aims to provide high quality meals at low prices, is on course to achieve their target of opening 25 outlets by 2012. The company has recently launched their latest store in Meadowhall Sheffield and is currently looking for suitable franchise owners to open more locations across the UK.

Nosh was founded by John Coverley and Neil McGowan after long and successful careers in corporate retailing. After researching the transient market, where people eat and drink convenience food away from home, they saw a gap in the market for providing quality hot and cold food at sensible prices and in a comfortable environment.

Mr Coverley said: "Our uniqueness comes from our mix states. We have tried to learn from our competition and have incorporated some of their ideas but it's when you put the ingredients together that we feel we stand out."

For the business to grow Nosh is keen to hear from potential franchise owners who are able to bring their existing skills, such as in IT, marketing, or good customer service to the brand. In return Nosh will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

The cost of a Nosh franchise ranges from £110,000 to £150,000, approximately 50 per cent is needed in liquid capital, and the Management Service Fee is set at only five per cent for new franchise owners joining in 2010.
