'Belvoir was shortlisted for the bfa Franchisor of the Year 2007 and the Brand Builder award and Terry Lucking, from Belvoir Peterborough won the gold award for bfa Franchisee of the Year. We also broke through the 100 barrier when Belvoir Inverness opened in 2007, and we now have a total of 120 franchises. We plan to build on these successes in 2008 and our target this year is to open a further 25 franchises. Training courses are already filling up fast and we are confident that this will be another record-breaking year, and the network will grow to 150 offices nationwide.'

Further initiatives planned for 2008 include the launch of an innovative new website for franchisees, and the development of several new training modules to enhance Belvoir's comprehensive three-week residential induction training programme for new franchisees. 'In addition,' says Dorian, 'we are also looking to acquire lettings portfolios from existing businesses in 2008 and would invite interested lettings agents to contact us and consider joining our group.'
