Over 5,000 visitors attended the 14th International KEM Franchise Exhibition, which took place on the 2-5 March at Helexpo Palace, Athens.

Recognised brands presented their concepts to visitors who, according to the event’s organisers, were more determined and informed about what they were looking for compared to previous years. Visitors attended the exhibition from countries all around the world, and specifically from the Arab Countries, the Balkans, Europe, Russia, South Africa, USA, China and Mexico.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the President of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development, Mr Christos Folias, and the President of the Athenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr Konstantinos Michalos. While Ambassadors and Commercial Attaches of Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and businessmen attended the ceremony. Greeting speeches were also given by the President of the Franchise Association of Greece, Mr Petros Petridis, and His Excellency the Ambassador of Lebanon, Mr Gebran Soufan.

The security that the franchise method provides was stated during the inauguration ceremony and its contribution to the development of the private sector, even in periods of crisis, since the franchise concepts continue to advance was highlighted.

The 14th International KEM Franchise Exhibition was held under the partnership of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development, the National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce, the Franchise Association of Greece, the European Franchise Federation (EFF) and the World Franchise Centre (WFC).
