International pizza franchise Papa John’s has announced plans to open 25 new stores across the UK this year.
This expansion will take the number of Papa John’s outlets in the UK to 200. Dave Galvin, UK Franchise Sales Manager at Papa John’s, said: “First pioneered in the USA, the Papa John’s concept of only using the highest quality ingredients and 100 per cent fresh dough to create a top quality pizza with a better natural flavor has proved incredibly popular over here.
“We currently have 88 UK franchise owners operating 185 outlets and with nine new stores already opened this year, we are well on target to reach our goal of over 200 by the year end.
“Each store is run by a franchise owner who employs up to 20 people. Many of our franchise owners have recognised the business opportunity running a Papa John’s franchise represents and now operate multiple outlets. We help source premises and provide full training and support to allow franchise owners to run a successful operation under the popular and highly regarded Papa John’s brand.”
