Former Professional Car Cleaning (PCC) Franchise Manager Ian Smith has donned the distinctive orange and black of the PCC network to become one of the valeting specialist's newest franchisees. 'When I first joined PCC, I was really impressed by the professionalism of the company and by the supportive, friendly atmosphere,' he reflects. 'I very much enjoyed my role as Franchise Manager, but over time I had seen at close quarters what it's really like to be a PCC franchisee and frankly couldn't wait to join the network!'

Ian received an enthusiastic welcome from the other franchisees and has had the full support of the PCC management team. 'I have plenty of work coming in,' he continues. 'In fact, PCC has become one of my first customers, as head office happens to be in my territory. I absolutely love every minute of my new lifestyle. The freedom and satisfaction that comes from running your own business is just great. It's certainly hard work, but so worth it!'

'I know the pitfalls as well as the great potential, having been on the franchise management team for a couple of years. I expect to be earning substantially more as a franchisee than I could by working in the office.'

Chief Executive of PCC Lloyd Evans says: 'We are delighted to have Ian as one of our franchisees. He is conscientious, enthusiastic and hard working, which means he'll undoubtedly make a great success of his franchise. Arguably, Ian is better placed than almost anybody to evaluate the benefits of becoming a franchisee, and so we take his decision to join the network as a fantastic endorsement for PCC!'
