New franchisee Liz Harrison (pictured) dreamed of moving to Spain. With the prospect of releasing equity from her family home she began searching for a business opportunity where she could work fewer hours for a sufficient income.
Liz recalls: 'It was the power of the Popping Tins brand that first caught my interest and the fact that they had the energy and experience to help me build my business.'
Popping Tins helped Liz source a specialist Spanish migration removal and storage firm and also introduced her to a network of contacts to help her acclimatise to a new way of life. The company identified her first 30 vending machine sites each averaging over 35 sales in week one, giving Liz a turnover of €2,100.
Liz says this business is ideally suited to tourist areas such as Benidorm. 'Ideal sites for vending machines include pubs, nightclubs and hotels,' she confirms. 'In Benidorm alone there are over 5,000 potential locations, so the scope for business is endless.'
Co-Founder Brett Marchant states: 'The company is now recruiting franchisees across Europe to join this successful and fast moving franchise working for less hours while enjoying the Mediterranean sun.'
