Design and print franchise Prontaprint has been selected to aid the re-branding of Great Britain's gas safety authority. CORGI is being re-branded to Gas Safe Register, which requires all registered gas engineers and installers to update their printed materials to reflect the new name.

Prontaprint was chosen as a preferred print and design supplier as a result of the success of previous projects completed for CORGI and the company's extensive experience of re-branding programmes after the re-launch of its own corporate identity in 2006. Prontaprint's updated B2B image has now been rolled out across 75 per cent of its network enabling the company to differentiate itself within the market place and communicate its service offering more effectively to attract higher value business clients.

Every prontaprint centre from across the 150 strong network has been supplied with the Gas Safe Register's logos, artwork and brand guidelines to enable them to support registered gas engineers and installers at a local level with the design and production of printed materials such as business cards, letterheads, invoices, promotional leaflets and advertisements.

Keith Davidson, Head of Marketing for Prontaprint, comments: 'At Prontaprint we can offer national clients UK-wide support when it comes to on-demand design and print services so we were perfectly positioned to support the Gas Safe Register and all its associated businesses through this period of transition.

'Prontaprint has won awards for its own re-brand programme so we are well aware of the common pitfalls and issues that might be faced by individual businesses as they look to update their printed communications to comply with the new regulations.'
