Prospective franchise owners can meet face to face with businesses that match their interests at Franchise Opportunities Live, a new and free event that is taking place 7 and 8 September at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Heathrow.

Visitors interested in running their own business as a franchise owner will be able to find out more about the opportunities available and progress their plans by holding valuable one to one meetings with carefully selected businesses who meet their criteria.

Aspiring franchise owners will find a broad range of franchise businesses available for meetings all under one roof, covering sectors such as property, retail, finance, home care and travel. These include 7Camicie, Auditel, Platinum Property Partners, Plug and Play, Kare Plus, Energy & Carbon Management and Value Doors. Visitors can have confidence in the franchise opportunities available, as the event is supported by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and only allows franchise companies that have met the Association’s code of ethics to exhibit.

To guide visitors through the process of becoming a franchise owner, there will also be a series of seminars on key franchising issues hosted by the bfa. The comprehensive programme covers what to consider when choosing a franchise, why and when to get legal advice, how to obtain funding and access financial help. These seminars will provide all the support and guidance visitors need to run a successful franchise business.

Adrian Goodsell, Franchise Exhibitions Manager at Venture Marketing Group, said: “This is a new and different way for prospective franchise owners to progress their research into franchise opportunities.

“The new event is a valuable step in the process, enabling visitors to refine their choices by meeting with key franchise businesses, receive advice and guidance, and network in luxury surroundings. This is targeted and structured to be of real benefit for those who are seriously considering making the move into franchising.”
