US-based quick service restaurant chain, Quiznos, has signed a Master Franchise deal for Russia with QSL Russia Ltd (QRL).
The agreement will see over 20 Quiznos restaurants opening in Russia by 2014, the first of which is due to be opened in St. Petersburg this year.
Lee Vala, International Chief Development Officer for Quiznos, said: “With extensive foodservice experience and a strong appreciation for both Russian culture and Quiznos operations and training, QRL has a keen understanding of their Russian customer. Quiznos is pleased to announce a Master Franchisee that will best serve Russia’s growing middle class.”
The Russian Master deal is part of Quiznos plan to open more than 400 international locations by 2020 in over 40 regions worldwide. The company has also recently signed deals for Brazil, India, and the Philippines.
