For the second year running Recognition Express Coventry is supporting young athletes in Coventry and Warwickshire by providing them with special team hoodies to celebrate their CAP Bursary Scheme Awards.

CAP, now in it's third year is a bursary scheme that provides support to young, talented athletes from across the region. Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership assistant for the 2012 games, Will Basin said: "On behalf of the partners involved in the CAP bursary programme, we would like to thank the generosity and support of Recognition Express in providing the hoodies for the CAP athletes."

Franchise owner of Recognition Express Coventry, Alex Newman said: "We are really enthusiastic about supporting these young sportsmen and women, we hope that the hoodies help to enhance their sense of being part of something really special."

The scheme, which is funded by Warwickshire County Council and Coventry County council, forms part of a local London 2012 project that aims to offer support to young talented athletes. The funding is used by athletes to assist their development by covering some of the costs associated with their sports including coaching, equipment, travel and competition entry fees.

A business to business franchise, Recognition Express has a network of 43 franchise owners operating across the UK and four Master Franchise Owners across Europe. It specialises in badge manufacture, signs, school uniforms, personalised sports clothing and promotional products. In 2003 it was awarded the British Franchise Association Franchisor of the Year.
