Waterloo Road’s Ceallach Spellman scored the only game of the match, handing the celebrities a 1-0 victory.

Nigel’s team of top businessmen from the franchise industry included players from Little Kickers, Signs Express and Recognition Express. The event raised over £5,000, which has been split evenly between the charities – Once Upon a Smile and WellChild.

Nigel and Recognition Express have been supporting the work of WellChild for over a decade and Nigel has personally helped to raise £44,500 for the appeal. His exploits have included a grueling bike ride in Cuba, a successful attempt to reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro and an eight-day 100km trek over the Sahara Desert, which raised more than £12,000.
