Ableworld’s two latest franchise owners have rewritten the record books after highly successful store openings in Darlington and Newark-on-Trent.

Ableworld franchise owners, Steve and Julie Cunningham (pictured), opened the doors of their Darlington store in August and broke the record for first week’s takings of any store in Ableworld’s 10 year history. Then in September, Newark-on-Trent franchise owners Mark Hennis and Naomi Moore, promptly rewrote the record books by surpassing even that of their franchise colleagues in Darlington in their first week of sales.

Ableworld’s Franchise Director, Paul Boniface, said: “We have been opening mobility stores for over 10 years and our founder has been a national retailer for over 35 years, so we have a lot of experience in launching new stores.

“However, we were doubly determined to support our franchise owners by getting them off to good starts and we pulled out all the stops to help Darlington and Newark-on-Trent start with a bang. All of us at Ableworld are delighted with the results and now our goal is to keep the momentum going.”
