Twelve months ago, John Geers secured the England franchise rights for Sherpa Kids England- an international out of school care hour’s franchise to service local communities by local entrepreneurs.
"Childcare is an industry that has been going strong in England for decades," Geers said. “We know parents are working longer hours and finding it harder to juggle the school drop offs”
“But offering breakfast clubs, after school and holiday programmes as a franchise option really serves the evolving needs of local communities”.
"Each Sherpa Kids franchisee is responsible for engaging closely with an allocated cluster of schools and its communities and working with them to provide engaging, creative, fun, safe and secure environments for breakfast, after school and holiday programmes services. The services are run directly on school properties. Services are staffed by qualified personnel who meet minimum standards as prescribed by Ofsted, the brand as well as International Best Practice and managed by the owners of the Sherpa Kids franchise”.
"Not only does it make childcare available to more parents and take the responsibility away from schools, it gives back to the community in terms of returning income back to the school and the franchisee."
Geers opened his first After School Club at Frith Manor Primary in North London in September 2013, shortly followed by his second service and now is full steam ahead for the third service.
“Head Teachers and the community share our success and introduce us their partner schools” said Geers.
Sherpa Kids has over 75 franchisees internationally, more recently, launched in South Africa.
Sherpa Kids are always looking to talk to new entrepreneur’s willing to take Sherpa Kids into their communities and also seeking expressions of interest for greater roles in England, Ireland and Wales with a Country Master Licence.”
Franchises territories are available all over England, priced at a very realistic £14,500 plus VAT.
