Signs Express centres in Glasgow, Plymouth, Grimsby and Warrington were successful this year, which follows achievement in the awards for four successive years. The National Sign Industry Awards, which are supported by the sign industry's governing body, The British Sign & Graphics Association, received over 250 entries for the 12 award categories.

Signs Express (Warrington) received a highly commended award for best vehicle livery project with a commission from fellow franchise Pink Ladies, based in Warrington. The Pink Ladies offers a woman-only taxi service and the ongoing project involves the vehicle wrapping of taxi cabs into the corporate colours of Pink Ladies - bright pink!

Another award was received for best vehicle livery project by Signs Express (Plymouth), which designed and fitted exciting graphics for the Chris Parsonage Class 1 Powerboat racing team. Signs Express (Glasgow) received a highly commended award for best interior sign project for innovative interior signs and displays for five floors of the Saltire Centre, a dedicated learning and student services building at Glasgow Caledonian University.

A highly commended award was also received by Signs Express (N&NE Lincs). The best commercial sign project award recognises the work the centre has completed for Wokmania. Involving both interior and exterior signage, Signs Express created eye-catching illuminated signs for the chain of Chinese buffet restaurants.
