Vending franchise Snack in the Box has launched a Facebook page as part of its marketing strategy to increase its brand awareness across different media.
The Facebook page works in partnership with the company’s main website and is intended to provide its followers with an insight into the day to day updates from the company. As well as this Snack in the Box will use its Facebook page to communicate with its franchise owners, potential franchise owners and staff.
Helen Taylor, Marketing Manager for Snack in the Box, said: “Our Facebook page enables us to communicate with those people who are keen social media users. It enables us to provide immediate news, statistics, photos and videos in real time about what we are doing at Snack in the Box. As an example, we recently exhibited at the National Franchise Show at the NEC and loaded photos and videos live while we were at the exhibition so viewers could see us live on Facebook.
“Facebook is typically less formal than a professional web page and so our Facebook page also enables people to gauge the character of our team to know what it would be like working with us as a franchise owner.”
