Over the last 16 years the Snack-in-the-Box (SITB) franchised network has been delivering confectionery, snacks and beverages to employees of small to medium sized workplaces.

The business has recently strengthened its sales operation with the appointment of a new Sales Director, Sean Cleveland (pictured).

No stranger to SITB, Sean has been working in the operational side of the business, via franchise owner field support, for the last nine years. His knowledge, experience and fresh ideas for the development of the business have already provided immediate dividends.

“People often ask me why are we so successful and that’s an easy one to answer,” explained Sean. “Our franchise is proven, simple to run and provides a service that our customers love – chocolate sells itself! Our vending machines and snack boxes are left within the premises of our customers, so this provides repeat business for our franchise owners every week.”

The brand’s franchise owners are also able to offer their customers snack and beverage solutions, via the large variety of equipment, as SITB provides an extensive range of snack and hot beverage machinery.

Sean also revealed information about SITB’s exciting new franchise package.“The franchise is designed to match the candidate’s earnings aspirations with a new flexible package option,” he said. “We can mix and match our equipment to suit the individual’s investment level and earnings requirement.

“A major advantage of our franchise is that we guarantee to find the new franchise owner an initial customer base, which provides an income from day one.”With the addition of the flexible package, SITB aims to further expand its network of 100 franchise owners based in the UK and Ireland, who service over 16,000 customers every week.

Phil Horth, Managing Director of SITB, added: “The acquisition by Snacktime Plc in 2009 has provided SITB with a new and exciting platform for growth.

“With new products and a strategic alliance with Mars, one of the world’s leading confectionery companies, we are now able to offer new franchise opportunities right across the UK and Ireland.”
