SUMO uses GPR and Radio Frequency Locators to provide a fast, reliable and cost effective utility Mark Out service and now also offers a hard copy topographic mapping service illustrating the depth and location of all the utilities found during the Mark Out service.

It was really impressive and I made up my mind straight away. I'm very excited about it.'

Adds Simon: 'It is an excellent opportunity - SUMO has developed a market and now is just the right time to go into it.'

SUMO has taken on five new employees since the beginning of August to work for the company's rapidly expanding surveying department. The new members of staff are Bill Hartnell and Darren Whistler, both land surveyors who will be covering the Midlands and the north of the country; James Chapman, Mark Holgate who are utility surveyors; and Joanne Whitehead who will be looking after the administration.
