Christine Dilly takes up the role of Business Development Manager for the North with the additional responsibility of rolling out the SureCare Local micro franchise offer.
The second appointment sees Clare Roberts come on board as Business Development Manager for the South with special responsibility for supporting franchisees with tender submissions.
Dilly previously worked as a service team manager with Housing & Care 21, while Clare was formerly a bid specialist with Sevacare (UK). Clare has significant experience in the areas of childcare and domiciliary care tendering.
The dual appointments follow the announcement by SureCare Managing Director Gary Farrer that he wants to launch new franchises and micro franchises across the UK over the next 18 months, creating hundreds of jobs in the process.
Farrer acquired SureCare – which currently has a network of more than 30 franchises and branches – from Housing and Care 21 in November.Farrer said: “I am delighted to have brought on board two experienced managers who will strengthen the SureCare management team and ensure that our franchisees and branches have the best possible support structure.
“SureCare is an entrepreneurial, ambitious business which is committed to helping people start up and grow successful franchise businesses.“During the past 12 months we have introduced a number of new care and home services which have created a range of new income streams for our franchisees.
“We recognise that the care sector is changing and businesses like SureCare have to be responsive and flexible to ensure that we are providing the type and quality of services that people require.”SureCare offers two types of franchises – full franchises covering large territories such as Oxfordshire, Cheshire East and Dorset, and SureCare Local micro franchises covering smaller territories (typically 100,000 population).
Farrer added: “We want to hear from people who may be interested in becoming a full franchisee but also from those who like the idea of becoming their own boss but can only afford the budget of a micro franchise.
“About half of our franchisees come from a care background, the rest simply have a desire and drive to become their own bosses. We are able to provide the intensive support, training and guidance all of our new franchisees require.”
