Since launching her London-based Tatty Bumpkin business, Dai Alford, a mother of two, has found that the natural lifestyle franchise for children fits easily around her family life.

Alford said: "There is an occasional juggle with both girls not being at school yet but it is fitting around them very well. The brand is fantastic, all class materials and resources are organic and fair trade."

Three times a week Alford hires a local hall in the Winchmore Hill area of North London, where she holds her Tatty Bumpkin yoga inspired activity classes. She also takes her classes to schools, nurseries and children centres in the area.

Tatty Bumpkin gives its franchise owners the opportunity to work as little or as much as they wish. Having found a business that she is truly passionate about, Alford enjoys dedicating her time to her Tatty Bumpkin franchise. She said: "All my time is Tatty time. Four days a week when my girls are in childcare I hold my classes and every spare hour I can snatch is put into my business."

Launched in 2003, Tatty Bumpkin is a natural lifestyle brand for children from newborn to age seven, which focuses on creating a creative and imaginative world for children and parents. Tatty Bumpkin has won numerous awards including Best National Physical Activity for Children, Organix What's on for Little Ones and has been voted as one of the top 100 ethical companies in the UK.

Tatty Bumpkin has a licensing deal with TUI travel, Canvas Holidays and First Choice to deliver its award-winning classes in their overseas holiday clubs.

The franchise programme gives franchise owners the opportunity to market the complete range of Tatty and Baby Bumpkin products and classes within an exclusive territory, giving the benefit of multiple income streams, classes for babies and toddlers as well as organic clothing.
