TaxAssist Accountants, an accountancy franchise that services the small business sector, has reached 26th in industry magazine Accountancy Age’s 2012 listings, up from 29th last year.
TaxAssist Accountants came straight in at 34th when it first entered the list in 2010 and has climbed the rankings for two years running.
The league table, which charts the performance of the UK’s Top 50 accountancy firms, said revenue from those firms had broken the £10 billion figure for the first time, despite tough economic conditions.
According to TaxAssist Accountants it recorded 16 per cent growth last year, against an accountancy average of six per cent. With nearly 200 franchise owners across the UK and recruiting for further growth, the successful business model is also being exported this year to Canada, the US, New Zealand and Australia.
