Although Direct Debit is an integral part of a business it is usually not an option for small companies as most banks restrict the facility to larger companies and often impose stringent security and financial requirements.

Now, however, TaxAssist Accountants can provide a Direct Debit service to its clients allowing them to offer monthly payments terms, subscription services and enable cash flow to remain constant.

'To have this kind of service available from any of our shops and offices draws clients to us that we would not previously have been talking to,' says Karl Sandall, Chief Executive of TaxAssist Accountants. 'Whilst our shops continue to have great walk-in levels, it never hurts to find ways of bringing more clients through the door and attach a value add service for clients.'

Chris Barnes, Sales Director of London & Zurich, adds: 'To work with a network of 165 accountants across the UK is a great opportunity for us to inform small businesses of our Direct Debit service. Most of the people we have spoken to cannot believe that such a service exists when they have been turned down by the high street banks.'
