Andy Moore swapped more than 23 years of commuting to London, to become an Autosheen franchise owner.
Previously a Manager for a major telecommunications company, Moore decided that franchising was the best way to take his career in a new direction.
“I decided I wanted more control over my own destiny and thought the best way to do that was by starting my own business,” said Moore, who’s territory covers Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. “I decided to buy a franchise and Autosheen seemed like the perfect one. Autosheen stood out by the way it was presented, it has a good website and a lot of information available. I also appreciated the honesty of the company.
“I have had an interest in cars for a long time, so Autosheen is perfect as it enables me to work with cars all day every day.”
Although Autosheen’s core market has until recently been in the automotive sector, the company is expanding into the marine and leisure industries, cleaning and maintaining boats using specialist techniques and industry leading purpose designed products.
“The services that I provide go well beyond straight forward car washing,” added Moore. “They include extremely high quality detailing valets as well as paintwork damage rectification, paintwork protection and a high gloss machine polishing service that restores car paintwork back to showroom condition and leaves a staggering ‘better than new’ mirror shine.”
