A leading UK supermarket chain, Tesco Stores Ltd, has chosen ConcretePlatform to expand its F&F clothing business into new international territories.

The three-year agreement, which will enable Tesco’s F&F brand to be traded by franchise partners worldwide, follows the announcement of the first F&F international franchise partner in Saudi Arabia.

ConcretePlatform is a trading community for retail brands, which offers a subscription-based cloud service and contains a number of flexible tools that allow retailers to trade with their partners across the wholesale, franchise and wholly-owned markets, as well as a vast supply network.

ConcretePlatform will allow Tesco’s F&F team to benefit from a secure cloud repository for all of its business critical information, including business documentation and print-ready marketing collateral. ConcretePlatform will therefore act as a one-stop-shop for all of the F&F team’s digital assets, including its marketing materials, retail operations guidelines and manuals, visual merchandising, training materials and more.

Tristan Rogers, CEO of ConcretePlatform, said: “With over 15 cloud applications now available on ConcretePlatform, we can genuinely offer our customers a one-stop-shop for trading their brand globally. We are extremely pleased that Tesco has chosen ConcretePlatform, as this choice further validates our unique position in the market for brands that are looking to expand internationally.”

Mark Knowlden, Business Development Manager of F&F, added: “ConcretePlatform is already connected to most franchise partners in the world, and we were particularly pleased to learn that our chosen franchise partner, AlHokair, was already familiar with Concrete through some of the other brands that they’ve working with. This not only helped to reinforce our decision to go with ConcretePlatform, but more importantly has allowed us to go from standstill to full operational in just a matter of weeks.”
