The Chocolate Room is set to expand its chocolate cafe franchise into China, Europe and the Middle East next year.

The Australian-based company has recently signed a Master Franchise agreement for China and aims to have 200 locations operating in the country in the next four years, the first is due to be opened in May 2013.

As well as this, The Chocolate Room is planning to open its first UK location in early 2013, which is set to be located in outer London. Again in Europe, the company is expecting to open its first cafe in Cyprus next year.


The Chocolate Room has also signed an agreement with an Australian-based company that has a Dubai office and warehousing facilities, which will see the brand expand into the UAE, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and Pakistan.
