Sponsored this year by the world’s No.1 health and fitness brand, Anytime Fitness, The British Franchise Exhibition showcased a diverse range of brands and franchise opportunities within a number of different sectors. This included top brands like McDonald's, Dublcheck, Platinum Property Partners, Expense Reduction Analysts, Kare Plus, Bargain Booze and many more.

Meeting with the next generation of franchise owners, brands had the chance to spend valuable time talking to potential strong candidates and invited them to find out more at future discovery days and meetings.

Ben Brookes, from the UK’s largest estate agency board specialists Agency Express, commented: “I’m really impressed with the number of quality leads coming through the door. Our sales team have been very busy, with one candidate already booked on our next open day. We choose to exclusively exhibit with VMG; their shows are not only well run but consistently deliver high footfall and high calibre leads.”

As the only franchise exhibition supported by The British Franchise Association (bfa), many visitors commented on the importance of this accreditation. Louis from Warrington attended one of the bfa’s seminars and commented: “The seminar given by the bfa was fantastic, it gave some really great tips on franchising and particularly, how to create a successful franchise. Knowing that this exhibition has the backing of the British Franchise Association gives a great sense of security.”

Adrian Goodsell, Director of Franchise Sales at Venture Marketing Group, who organise and run The Franchise Exhibitions, commented on the success of the event: “We had a great couple of days in Manchester, enjoying high footfall and busy stands, making this one of our most successful summer Manchester exhibitions to date. We have received a range of positive feedback from both attendees and exhibitors, each commenting on the high calibre people and brands they had met. Overall we couldn’t be happier with the turnout and success of the northern event.”
