Tea Lounge has signed a Master Franchise agreement for Kuwait and is set to open its first store in the country in the next few months and additional locations over the next few years.
Tea Lounge is a US-based community café franchise that offers a range of fine teas, coffees, café-style food along with family entertainment.
Jonathan Spiel, CEO of Tea Lounge, said: “We are extremely excited to be entering the Kuwait market, as we feel that the local residents will embrace Tea Lounge’s community and social experience. While Tea Lounge traditional offerings include organic, fair-trade coffee and tea drinks, baked goods, hot sandwiches, breakfast and salads, as well as bar elements so patrons can enjoy a beer, glass of wine or a cocktail, the location in Kuwait will not include alcoholic beverages to fit the community culture.
