A new franchise deal will see 25 Wendy’s restaurants opening in Georgia and the Republic of Azerbaijan over the next 10 years.

The Wendy’s Company, which owns the burger restaurant franchise, has signed an agreement with The Wissol Group, who will own and operate the new restaurants. The Wissol Group is set to open the first location in Tbilisi in 2013.

Dr. Samson Pkhakadze, President of The Wissol Group, added: “We are very proud to bring Wendy’s to the Georgian market, where we will focus our development efforts over the next several years.
