Wendy’s/Arby’s Group Inc has entered into a franchise agreement with Dane Darbasie, which will result in 24 Wendy’s restaurants opening in the Eastern Caribbean in the next 10 years. Darbasie, who has 12 years of experience in the restaurant industry, is planning to open the first restaurant in Trinidad in 2011.
In addition to opening restaurants in Trinidad and Tobago, Wendy’s restaurants are set to open in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent and Suriname.
