UK-based sushi restaurant franchise, YO!Sushi, has opened its first US franchised location.

The first YO!Shushi US restaurant in located in Washington, D.C. and is set to be followed by at least 10 more units, which will be opened in the mid-Atlantic corridor between Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia.

Alison Vickers, Business Development Director of YO!Sushi, said: “We have had a great deal of success in the UK and around the globe so we are confident that YO!Sushi will be popular in the US as well. The conveyor belt makes the concept unique and customers will really enjoy the chance to pick their dishes off the rotating belt.”
