'Key features of our proposition, including joint branding, exclusive territories, the superior IT support, opportunities for multiple income streams as well as the ongoing help and support, appear to be influencing franchisees in the decision making process,' adds Andy. 'We feel our proposition is becoming of increasing interest to smaller independent agents who, with the advent of Home Information Packs (HIPs) and the ongoing pressures to adhere to strict regulatory requirements, feel that franchising could enable them to meet the demands of the future market. The fact that they can still maintain responsibility for an agency, and even put their name to it, but at the same time have the reassurance that they have the backing and support of a national network could, we feel, be very attractive to a lot of agents.
'We've progressed well and will continue to promote our proposition with the aim of moving into even more new areas where there is no existing Your Move presence. Particular areas of interest are currently Wales, North London, North West England and South and West Yorkshire.'
