Don't forget it Dublcheck it

\"Dublcheck with its guaranteed* turnover package caught my eye, as I did not want to do any selling.\"

Jack Wiley decided to join Dublcheck as a franchise owner after the declining sales and extended opening hours as a convenience store owner.
"The convenience store was originally my dad's enterprise," reflects Jack. "However, as time went on it became apparent that the consumer demand for a shop like this was just not there anymore.

"As I did not want to work in retail anymore I decided to look into franchising. The thought of learning new skills and developing another business with a tried and tested system was very appealing. Commercial cleaning franchise Dublcheck, with its guaranteed turnover package*, caught my eye as I did not want to do any selling .

"The beauty of Dublcheck is that it has very low overheads because it can be run from the comfort of your own home. The fact it is nestled in a relatively recession-proof industry was also attractive as, while I had been in other businesses and survived previous recxessions, trading conditions were very hard. However, with Dublcheck my business is still growing."

Founded in 1993 by Carol Stewart-Gill, Dublcheck began franchising its successful business model in 1994. To date Dublcheck has over 100 franchise owners operating across its nationwide network. As part of the franchise package, all Dublcheck franchise owners have access to comprehensive training, which takes place at head office with ongoing support. For an additional small monthly fee franchise owners can also have help with credit control, employment and legal services and access to the intranet.

"I launhed my franchise in 1998," continues Jack. "Initially I started the business with a relatively small investment and turned over £24,995 in my first year. 11 years on I have built the business up to a turnover of £90,000, while only doing six hours a week myself.

"I enjoy running my Dublcheck franchise and have no intention of retiring anytime soon. Running my franchise keeps my mind active, stops boredom from setting in and gives me the money to be able to make renovations to my home or go to the theatre as and when I want to."
