DALROD started cleaning drains in 1985, and since then the company’s knowledge and understanding of the drainage industry has continued to grow along with the number of highly skilled drainage technicians working to solve its customers drainage problems.

Every property, whether it is a residential or commercial property, has a drainage system that needs to be taken care of.

With the first successful franchise model being launched in 2001, DALROD currently has multiple licensed territories delivering geographically across the United Kingdom by an incredible team of dedicated franchise owners.

The business services all sectors of the commercial and domestic market and has areas of specialism in a variety of commercial industries, such as the food processing sector, where it works with many leading food manufacturers on an ongoing and contracted basis. DALROD clients can also be found within local authority housing stocks, schools and colleges, hotels, hospitals and restaurants.

Not just anyone is accepted as a franchisee – and this is in order to protect the brand, fellow franchisees and the model itself. DALROD ensures all of its franchisees are business minded and share its values and ethos. Many people might think you would have to be from the drainage industry, but in fact this could not be further from the truth. DALROD wants business-minded people who are going to make a difference to the business by investing in a white-collar capacity, helping to take DALROD to the next level. Drainage knowledge can be an advantage as long as this is accompanied by a business mindset, but isn’t, by any means, a pre-requisite.

As a member of the British Franchise Association, DALROD works closely with the bfa to ensure it is operating as the best franchisor it can be in order to consistently deliver the highest levels of support to its franchisees.
