Hope Home Care

  • Profile

We are a privately owned Domiciliary Care Company, registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our management and staff have over 23 years practical experience of working in the homecare sector.

We provide domiciliary care in the community on a daily, weekly, overnight, and home live-in basis to all adults over the age of 18 years, older people with a mental or physical disability, or people who are suffering from a medical condition or disease.

Domiciliary Care, also known as home care, is a range of care services people can receive in their own home to help them cope with disability or illness, and to become, or remain independent for as long as possible.

Hope Home Care are now expanding and we have a variety of new franchise opportunities right now in several locations. If you want to join us as we continue our expansion across the UK, we would like to hear from you. All care is closely monitored and tailored to individual needs, whilst being delivered to a high standard by fully trained staff.

About Us

Hope Home Care was created by Gail and Gladys Maimbolwa - a mother and daughter team.

After completing Secondary School, Gail studied accounting and went on to become an Accounts Assistant. She was struggling to find fulfilment in her role and wanted something that would enable her to give back to the community. She applied for her first Care Assistant role in 2013 and found joy and fulfilment in meeting new people, and being there for them during their struggles with ill health or old age.

Gladys worked as an audio secretary for a legal company from 1988 to 1992, when she first became a part-time Care Assistant. In 2008, she went on complete the Legal Barrister qualification, which led her on the path to become an independent Domestic Violence Advisor in 2009. She continued working part time as a care assistant up until 2013, which is when she decided that going into the care industry was her destiny.

As they both had a strong passion for looking after people, Gail and Gladys started Hope Home Care and have enjoyed lot of success in providing a personalised style of care which brings their customers and staff fulfilment. They have developed and created innovate systems to ensure that Hope Home Care's clients are looked after, and their needs met in full.

Having now established the formula to run a successful agency they would like to pass this on to their franchisees.

What do you get as a Franchisee?

Choosing to start a domiciliary care agency in the UK is not a decision to be taken lightly. There are regulatory and legislative requirements to fulfil. There is money to be found as starting an agency is not cheap. There are employment hurdles to overcome, and then ongoing marketing and training needs.

We ensure that you are well equipped to start and grow your business. Training, ongoing business support, and a wide range of resources are available when you become a Hope Home Care Franchisee in your area.

One of the main benefits of franchising is the partnership between Franchisee and Franchisor. Head Office support is essential, especially in the early trading days of the franchisee, and it will always be readily available. There will be a hands on approach at the start, and we will gradually step back to let you, the Franchisee, take complete control as you become more confident, professional and experienced.

Approximately 517,000 adults currently receive state-funded homecare, whilst 527,000 adults receive self-directed support via Social Services. These are substantial figures which are indicative of how important the domiciliary care market is in the delivery of care. It’s an industry that is currently worth £7.8 billion per year, and there are now in excess of 6,830 homecare providers in England registered with the CQC, 84% of which operate in the private and voluntary sectors.

It is an inevitable fact that more people will require care in the future, and the market is set to grow for many years to come. Whether this care is funded by the state or privately, it will mean more carers working in more care agencies, to provide it.
