About Prokil
Prokil Damp & Timber Specialists is a privately owned damp-proofing and timber treatment company based in Bournemouth. Prokil is the number-one choice on the market for all damp and timber treatments, and customers benefit from over 50 years’ experience and industry knowledge.

When you become a franchisee of Prokil, you get more than just an opportunity to grow a small business into something bigger. Prokil’s package comes with a number of significant benefits that have been designed to make your working life simpler, more efficient and ultimately drive profits. You will offer a variety of products specialising in the treatment of damp and timber preservation, and services to help meet the needs of Prokil franchisees’ customers.

Earnings
Prokil offers the chance to run a business with a six-figure turnover. Franchisees are not limited by how much they can earn. Just ask Prokil’s first franchisees in Brighton who turned over more than £250,000 in their first year.

Training and support
Prokil has a tried-and-tested training programme that has been designed to give all the necessary skills to start operating, including onsite and in-office training, offsite training at specialist centres and ongoing training as new systems and processes are developed. Once you have started trading you will have the support of a dedicated franchise manager. Regular support visits are carried out to ensure the business is growing in the right direction. Head office is available to offer support for day-to-day questions and visits from other Prokil head office staff assist in any onsite issues.

Becoming a Prokil franchisee
Prokil has spent a significant amount of time developing a unique package for its selected franchisees, gaining expansive knowledge of the trade to pass on to you, to help you develop your skills, grow your business and give you the ability to trade under the well-established Prokil name.

Management service fee
Prokil charges a management service fee (MSF) of seven per cent of your gross turnover. Part of the MSF covers the cost of supporting you and further developing the network, and a proportion is a royalty fee to use the Prokil brand.

Financial support
High-street banks are willing to support Prokil franchisees with 50 to 70 per cent funding subject to approval. This means that you may be able to start a Prokil franchise with just a £30,000 personal contribution.
