The company specialises in providing organisations with corporate recognition goods such as name badges, branded promotional products, business gifts and signs. Jonny previously co-owned its Coventry franchise with Alex Newman. In its first year alone, the business was so successful that it became the second fastest growing franchise in Recognition Express' 27-year history. Before setting up their franchise, both Jonny and Alex worked at the Recognition Express head office in Hinckley.
'Because I was Production Manager at Recognition Express, I had an insider's understanding of how it operates,' says Jonny. 'I knew that it is a strong brand, has an enormous product range, successful franchisees and a very supportive network. I jumped at the chance to run the Coventry franchise with Alex and now that I've had first-hand experience of being a franchisee, I think the time is right to try going it alone.'
