Domiciliary care provider Caremark Ltd launched its first franchise in 2006 and since then has grown to an impressive 49 offices throughout the UK and Ireland. Caremark Franchise Owners are supported by a 12 strong team offering support in business development, IT, marketing, finance and care. Dedicated support managers are allocated to each Franchise Owner, providing a high level of support on an ongoing basis.
Following the initial two week training course, Franchise Owners can also benefit from ongoing training. Caremark has carefully developed its training services to continually support Franchise Owners.
"We have just completed an initial training course, attended by five new Franchise Owners, and will be holding another in September," explains National Operations Manager Sean Cragg. "We believe in continually developing our training resources so we can offer Franchise Owners the level of support they demand. Through regular regional meetings and through our consultative group we are able to use feedback from our Franchise Owners to develop training that suits their needs. This is very important to us and as the care sector continues to develop we must endeavour to keep one step ahead."
The Caremark network has recently grown by a further five new territories. As well as welcoming new Franchise Owners to the network, three existing Franchise Owners have expanded into additional territories, showing just how successful the franchise is and how much opportunity there is in the home care sector. "These are exciting times for Caremark," explains Managing Director Kevin Lewis. "We will be hitting the 50 office mark in the very near future and will be continuing this steady growth for the rest of the year into 2010 and beyond.
