Become part of the Molly Maid success story

Molly Maid has been a shining example of franchise success in the UK’s £1.6 billion domestic cleaning industry for nearly three decades.

Molly Maid provides a high quality domestic cleaning service operated by its network of franchise owners, who manage teams of cleaners within an exclusive area.

Qualities Molly Maid looks for include common sense, good people skills and a desire to work hard. What all Molly Maid franchise owners have in common is that they all follow the brand’s proven system and want to be a success.

Although some sales and management experience is an advantage, the brand’s franchise owners come from all walks of life.

In return, Molly Maid provides you with:

1. A well-established brand
In addition to its successful franchise network in the UK, Molly Maid enjoys enormous success in Canada, the USA, Portugal and Japan. With more than 450 franchises worldwide annually cleaning over two million homes worth a combined £100 million, Molly Maid is the brand most often chosen to clean people’s homes.

2. Strong brand name recognition
Independent market research conducted by IPOS MORI in September 2010 revealed that more than one-in-five adults (22 per cent) now regard Molly Maid as the household name for domestic cleaning.

3. Strong earnings potential
Depending on personal ambition you can have five cars on the road within 12 to 18 months with estimated sales revenue in excess of £100,000. When your business is fully established, 15-20 per cent of revenues could become net earnings. Why we chose Molly Maid

“It is a fantastic opportunity for people from all backgrounds and walks of life. My children were just two and four when I started and it has been rewarding to be able to combine what has grown into a successful business with the demands of a young family.”

“ I looked at a couple of other cleaning franchise opportunities but it was Molly Maid that ticked all the boxes I had set myself. My mind was made up when I visited its Maidenhead support office and met Chief Executive Pam Bader and the rest of the support team. I loved the way they were so down to earth and it was like meeting long lost friends.”

“I liked the thought of becoming my own boss, running my own business and implementing my own ideas with the support of an established brand, so after two weeks in-depth research I decided to invest. The support team were wonderful – they were happy to let you get on and run your business and, if you want lots of help, they are always on hand.”

Deferred Payment Scheme

Since its launch in March, the innovative finance initiative from Molly Maid to help fund the purchase of its franchise opportunity has been generating a lot of interest from budding entrepreneurs. This initiative allows Molly Maid to defer payment of up to 70 per cent of the initial franchise investment fee, as long as prospective franchise owners have received funding approval from their banks.

Pam Bader OBE, CEO of Molly Maid, said: “We want to lend a helping hand to entrepreneurial individuals who might otherwise struggle financially. Allowing them to pay in instalments will help to improve their cash flow at a critical time in the early stages of starting their business.”
