Oven cleaning franchise, Oven Wizards are going from strength to strength as they announce record growth. Gareth Samuel looks at how three franchise owners from very different areas and backgrounds have all found financial prosperity, independence and ultimately happiness, as an Oven Wizards partner.
When David Tomlinson from Newcastle was made redundant for the second time in 12 months in 2011, he came to the conclusion that he’d had enough of employment and wanted to be his own boss. He says: “We looked at various franchises and came across Oven Wizards, I contacted Mark Abbott and John Graham who jointly own and run Oven Wizards and the rest as they say is history.”
After a phone call, a meeting was promptly arranged. Mark and John worked very effectively to get me up & running and by November, I was trading after a successful launch at a local supermarket.
Now, having completed his second year of trading, David is soaring. He said: “I am ahead of my initial plan, and I have cleaned hundreds of ovens, hobs & extractors. My franchise gives me the flexibility to work seven days a week or four-five days a week and you will soon find the phone never stops ringing.” “In terms of great value and support I believe Oven Wizards is the best Franchise available on the market.”

James joined the Oven Wizards team in September 2006 and took the decision to renew his agreement for a further five years in 2011. James continues: “I still see massive scope for further development and so the decision to renew was not in question. I look forward to many more years running an Oven Wizards franchise.”
James also believes that the Oven Wizards network has never been so strong as it is now and that the most important aspect of running a successful Oven Wizards business is the customers: “Customer service in this business is paramount to make sure people keep coming back to you, and closely watching cost targets keeps you on top of your business.”
