Summary of Operation:
RIFT was established in 1999 to help construction workers claim back tax on their travel expenses from HMRC, and we have grown steadily year on year to expand our services to other professions.
Ideal Franchise Owner:
Knowledge of the construction industry is an advantage, but not essential. You’ll need to be confident about meeting potential clients on building sites, able to explain clearly why they’re entitled to a refund and willing to help them with their forms if required.
You don’t need any prior knowledge of tax. We’ll show you how to assess each client’s case to see if they qualify for a tax refund. We’ll also support you in building your business to create strong and lasting relationships with your clients and other key contacts.
We’ll cover the need-to-know info at RIFT head office in Ashford, Kent. Then you’ll shadow our reps on site (usually in London), and finally they’ll shadow you in your territory.
RIFT head office provides all the administrative and technical services, all you need to do is send us the client’s completed paperwork. We will review their claim, chase any missing info, calculate their refund and deal with HMRC.
