Stenders is the most exciting retail concept in the sector since The Body Shop.

Stenders' products integrate the best ancient Latvian traditions with completely natural products, all uniquely packaged under the Stenders brand and delivered through its Latvian style shopfit experience. Its product range includes more than 70 kinds of hand-made soaps and 40 bubble balls, various bath milks and bath salts in a range of aromas, massage butters, essential oils and massage oils, salt scrubs, bath extracts and foams, as well as bath and sauna accessories.

'Combining the life force of nature with knowledge from ancient recipes, Stenders products are hand-made using the highest quality natural products like plant oils, plant extracts, dried particles of plants, essential oils, distilled essential oils, beeswax and honey cells,' says co-Founder Ieva Eglite. 'The properties of each plant are also reflected in the colour, texture and design of the product.

Stenders maintains its closeness to nature in its product packaging, which manifests in specified packaging requirements and the selection of eco-friendly materials such as recycled paper, linen and wood.'

High street rents are coming down after years at a level prohibitive to new businesses, coinciding with the UK introduction of one of Eastern Europe's biggest retail success stories: Stenders. With a comprehensive range of high quality handmade soaps, cosmetics and other beauty products - all created with natural ingredients - Stenders has become a highly popular brand in 22 countries worldwide, including Japan and China. Now this Latvian company is seeking serious high calibre candidates to develop its concept across the UK.

Stenders is seeking individuals who are keen to start with a single unit, with the opportunity of growing by launching additional units over time. No previous retail experience is necessary as full training and support will be provided by Stenders head office, which has developed a proven strategy for supporting its international network of stores operating across Europe and Asia.

Full onsite setup and launch support will be provided, including the assistance of the head office retail design team which will attend to the shopfit and store layout design.

'Stenders is the most exciting retail concept in the sector since The Body Shop. The stores bring some excitement to the high street because of the strong Latvian branding. Provided the new franchisees who come onboard are able to recreate and maintain the Latvian image they should be able to separate the Stenders outlets from the competition.'

Professor Roy Seaman CFE, Managing Director of Franchise Development Services

'The products are made to specifically developed recipes and have a very strong emphasis and ethic of quality, naturalness and eco-awareness. The quality of the products, innovative shop design and customer service approach combine to provide the franchisee with a proven formula for success.'
