For Well Polished franchise owner Paula Carson, it was the commercial and domestic cleaning franchise’s excellent business model and dedicated ongoing support that made it outshine the competition.

After being out of work for six years due to illness, Paula Carson was eager to get back into the job market and pursue her ambition of becoming her own boss. Having previously worked as a chambermaid, Paula decided to research cleaning franchises so she could utilise her previous experience of cleaning standards and customer service.

“I decided to look at the franchise sector because I knew that I didn’t want to go back to being an employee and I wanted to make money for myself not someone else,” explains Paula. “I looked at several different cleaning franchises but for me Well Polished just stood out.”

Since launching her Carluke-based business in February, Paula has really enjoyed running her own business and praises the Well Polished team for its dedicated ongoing support.

“The support and marketing advice I have received from Sandra and the team has been brilliant,” enthuses Paula. “I have done some of my own marketing, such as leaflet drops in my local territory, but the marketing tips Sandra has given me have been a huge help. “Being my own boss is everything I hoped it would be,” she continues. “I don’t have anyone to answer to and can manage my time as I like, which is great as I have my little boy to look after.”

Paula may have only been running her Well Polished franchise for a few months but she already has ambitious plans for the future of her business.

“At the moment I have three cleaners working with me and am running my business from home but I hope, in the future, to hire more cleaners and obtain office premises to manage the demand of my services. I am happy with how my business is progressing and I know that, with the help of Sandra and the Well Polished team, I will build a profitable and successful business.”
