The kitchen improvement firm, Granite Transformation, has assembled a highly experienced franchise advisory and support team, referred to as the FAST team. The new team specialises in sales, operations and technical matters and is ready to assist franchisors and new franchise owners over the phone or out in the field.
"We created the FAST team with personnel who are experts in their respective fields and it has really given us an edge in the battle for franchise recruitment, as well as helping to develop our existing showroom network," said Granite Transformation Chief Operating Officer Danny Hanlon.
To promote its new services Granite Transformation has launched the FAST team in the style of the A Team. Using an authentic replica of the original GMC G-series van featured in the popular 80's series, the FAST team recreated some scenes from the show and publicity stills from the latest movie.
The team consists of Sales Director Tom Anderson (Face), who trains incoming franchise owners with his eight step sales process and assists established franchise owners on everything from pricing policy to recruitment and training of sales personnel.
Operations Manager Darren Boorman (Hannibal) runs half day business planning sessions with showroom management, including advice on balance sheets, marketing spend and internal systems.
Technical support Luke Tuttlebee (Mr T) and Steve Cooper (Howlin Mad Murdoch), fit out the showrooms for new franchise owners, train up kitchen fitters and keep existing franchise staff up to date on products. Portraying the girl in the gang, Triple A, is Franchise Recruitment Advisor Katy Daws, who provides back up from head quarters.
"The FAST team concept has proved a real asset in helping owners to develop their business and new recruits to get up to speed on technical, operations and commercial matter. The guys are all good communicators and able to share their expertise with others, so the system is working really well," said Hanlon.
