The craze for giant kitchen or multi-functional living space is fuelling consumer demand for home improvements and building extensions, which has seen an increase by 12 per cent year-on-year.

This will benefit all franchisees with the company who fit upwards of 8,000 kitchen and bathroom installations each month and is soon to surpass its millionth customer.

Chief Operating Officer, Danny Hanlon said: “The amount of time people now spend in the kitchen is prompting them to upgrade and extend their existing layout, revamping the décor and adding must-have features like island units. This is a growth market that our franchise owners can readily tap into and we also anticipate demand for bathroom, shower and utility room makeovers, where our finishing materials work equally well.”
